Kristina Figaro, LMSW, IMH-E® and Andrea Rodgers, MA, LLP, IMH-E®

Kristina D. Figaro holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wayne State University. She has worked tirelessly with families and children for 18 years, the last ten as an Infant Mental Health Specialist in Wayne County Michigan. Currently she is an IMH Therapist and Behavioral Health Consultant at Starfish Family Services where she provides clinical home-based intervention and supportive services to pregnant women and new mothers through Beaumont Hospital’s OB/GYN Clinic and Labor and Delivery Department. She also provides reflective supervision for student interns. Kristina co-authored “Keeping the Therapist in Mind: Examining Diversity in the Reflective Process” featured in the August 2007 Infant Crier. Andrea Rodgers, MA LLP, IMH-E® is the Clinical Manager of the Early Childhood Behavioral Health Programs at The Children’s Center in Detroit, Michigan. She has been working with infants, toddlers, and their families for 10 years. She is a life coach and a published author of the books "Silencing Your Inner Critic" and "Releasing The Burden of Shame." She also authored The Intentionality of Diversity: Reflections on the 2017 MI-AIMH Biennial Conference (Infant Crier August 2017.)
